Bizcap Relaunches Canadian Operations as Part of Global Growth Strategy

December 4, 2025 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

NewCo Capital Group has relaunched its Canadian operations under a new name, Bizcap Canada, formally integrating the team into Bizcap Group’s expanding global financing network.

The move brings Bizcap’s Canadian business onto a much larger international platform, enabling the company to offer better pricing, smaller and more flexible periodic payments, and significantly faster approvals for small and medium-sized enterprises. Brokers will also gain access to a new Partner Portal designed to streamline submissions, tracking, and deal visibility.

Operating under one unified global brand aligns Canada with Bizcap’s footprint across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the U.S., the U.K., and Europe.

“This isn’t just a new name — it’s a smarter, faster Bizcap Canada built for brokers and business owners,” said Albert Gahfi, Co-CEO of Bizcap Group and CEO of NewCo Capital Group. “Unifying under one brand gives our clients access to greater capital strength, smarter technology, and a truly global financing platform.”

The relaunch comes during a period of rapid expansion for Bizcap, following its acquisition of AI-powered growth funding platform 8fig and its recent entry into Germany.

Steve Bergstrom, Chief Risk Officer for Bizcap Canada and NewCo Capital Group, said the Canadian team will continue offering fast, flexible funding while adding more advanced underwriting, automation, and data-driven services.

“We’ve enhanced our underwriting process to offer better pricing and smaller periodic payments, built around how Canadian SMEs actually operate,” he said.

Chief Revenue Officer Bruce Gurvitsch added that while the name is changing, clients and brokers will continue working with the same trusted team — now supported by a scalable global infrastructure and a broader product set.

“The Partner Portal is a game-changer for brokers: simple submissions, real-time updates, and more opportunities to serve clients,” he said.

With the relaunch, Bizcap Canada will offer:

  • Enhanced digital experiences and underwriting automation
  • Expanded product offerings, including Line of Capital and AI-enabled growth capital
  • Access to a global ecosystem of partners and data-driven services

Bizcap has delivered more than $3 billion in financing to over 66,000 SMEs globally and maintains a 4.8/5 Trustpilot rating. Founded in 2019, the company provides non-bank funding with approvals in as little as three hours and same-day access to capital.
