Aryza, a Dublin-based provider of AI-enabled automation software for the financial sector, this week acquired Toronto’s Umbrella Tech.
Umbrella Tech is an automation company delivering AI-powered digital agents, omni-channel engagement solutions, and an integrated Quality Assurance and realistic speech analytics platform tailored to the Collections and Recoveries industry.
Built for regulated environments, Umbrella’s technology empowers organizations to automate complex, high-volume interactions with accuracy and compliance, while driving efficiency gains across operations.
“Joining Aryza marks a significant milestone for Umbrella Tech, opening an exciting new phase of growth,” commented chief executive officer Sam Ganab.
The acquisition expands Aryza’s Agentic Collections & Recoveries intelligence, integrating human-like conversations (across over 100 languages) into its existing conversational AI and digital collections platform, Aryza Engage.
Aryza’s vision combined Umbrella Tech’s AI technology “establishes a robust foundation to expand capabilities and help organizations advance the way they manage customer engagements,” according to Ganab.
Businesses using the solution report increased customer engagement, reduced operational costs, and improved recovery performance.
“The addition of Umbrella Tech is pivotal in Aryza’s journey to expand its AI capabilities,” believes chief executive officer Colin Brown.
“By integrating Aryza’s conversational AI platform, Aryza Engage, with advanced voice-based agentic AI, we are creating a powerful market differentiator,” the CEO stated.
“This combination enables our customers to deploy intelligent, autonomous engagement at scale while advancing the next generation of Agentic Collections & Recoveries globally,” he added.
Umbrella Tech was founded in Toronto by Ganab in 2023.
Aryza was established in 2002.
