Digital Commerce Bank and Fillip Launch Fleet Card Innovation with Circle K

June 18, 2025 by Robert Lewis Leave a Comment

Calgary-based fintech Fillip and Digital Commerce Bank (DCBank) are powering a major new digital fleet card initiative with Circle K, aiming to transform how Canadian businesses manage fuel expenses.

The newly launched Circle K Pro DIGITAL+ is a fully digital fleet card program that offers instant access to fuel savings, real-time transaction tracking, and advanced expense controls—all from a mobile-first platform. Developed by Fillip and issued by DCBank in partnership with Visa, the platform provides Canadian businesses with a modern solution to simplify and streamline fleet fueling operations.

“Fillip is proud to power the platform behind Circle K Pro,” said Alice Reimer, CEO of Fillip. “With real-time visibility into fuel spend by vehicle and driver, businesses can unlock powerful insights, drive operational efficiency, and strengthen their bottom line.”

The partnership addresses a longstanding pain point for fleet operators: outdated payment systems, limited transparency, and inefficient administrative processes. Circle K Pro DIGITAL+ allows businesses to instantly issue digital fuel cards, set customizable controls, and monitor spending—while also providing exclusive fuel discounts at Circle K and Couche-Tard locations nationwide.

“We developed Circle K Pro DIGITAL+ in direct response to what we are hearing from Canadian businesses,” said Stéphane Trudel, Senior Vice President of Operations at Alimentation Couche-Tard, Circle K’s parent company.

“This program is built to remove friction from everyday operations. With instant digital access, real-time tracking and meaningful cost savings at the pump, Circle K Pro gives businesses the tools they need to simplify fleet fueling.”

With this launch, Calgary-based Fillip continues its momentum as a leading innovator in digital payments for the transportation and logistics sectors, while DCBank strengthens its role as a key issuer in Canada’s evolving fintech landscape.
