September 7, 2018 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

The CIX has announced the 20 innovative Canadian tech companies that have been selected into the annual CIX Top 20 program and the list includes two fintech startups.

Toronto’s Borrowell and Clearbanc are among the selected companies that represent a diverse range of tech including software, medtech, cleantech, big data, security, Saas and fintech.

These game-changing companies on the rise are chosen by a selection committee made up of technology industry experts and investors from across the country.

Hundreds of profiles were submitted this year from all regions of Canada. Companies were chosen based on a number of key factors including product/service offering, depth of management, market opportunity, and business model.

The CEO of each CIX Top 20 company will present at CIX 2018 on October 22-23 and share their story and unique innovation to a crowd of over 700 investors and peers in the North American technology ecosystem.
