Winnipeg’s Conquest Believes AI is the Future of Financial Planning

June 7, 2022 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

Conquest Planning is a Canadian financial technology startup that has re-imagined the financial advice delivery experience.

The Winnipeg-born fintech recently expanded int0 the UK market, where over 90% of the British population hasn’t had access to a financial plan, according to a review from UK’s Financial Conduct Authority.

“After tremendous early success modernizing advice delivery for over 15,000 advisors in Canada, we are excited for the opportunity to bring Conquest Planning to the UK,” said CEO Mark Evans.

“When building Conquest, the ability to support multiple geographies was a priority as access to financial advice is a global challenge,” he noted.

Conquest was founded in 2018 with its core differentiator being the Strategic Advice Manager. SAM is an artificial intelligence system that simplifies the advice process by eliminating the inefficient and inaccurate trial-and-error method traditionally applied when building financial plans.

“Our AI approach to advice provides financial advisors with a powerful yet intuitive platform to build and manage financial plans,” said Evans.

SAM builds custom client profiles, analyses best practices, and more.

Fidelity International announced this month that it has teamed up with Conquest as the exclusive distributor of this financial planning software to the UK independent advice market.

“Conquest Planning has the potential to transform the way advisers engage with their clients, and ultimately the way they do business,” said Jackie Boylan, Head of Fidelity Adviser Solutions.

“By creating a consistent framework for delivering robust financial plans, it improves the efficiency of client reviews and provides advisers with the opportunity to help more people benefit from advice and potentially engage with new clients, as well as review how they operate as a business,” she added.
