Digital Commerce Calgary Fintech Award Showcases 2022 Winners

May 9, 2023 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Last year, Digital Commerce Bank and Platform Calgary partnered together in a dual mission.

Their goal was to champion and celebrate Calgary as an emerging fintech hub, as well as ensure that local fintech startups are set up for success when it comes to launching and scaling their business in the city.

To accomplish that they launched the inaugural Digital Commerce Calgary Fintech Award and proceeded to dole out $310,000+ in non-dilutive cash to help two fintech startups on their way.

To kick off this year’s award they’re bringing the two 2022 winners back to the Platform Innovation Centre for a chance to see how the Award influenced their companies.

This is a great opportunity to connect with the Calgary fintech community, get the first scoop on this year’s Award, and see what the two winning fintech startups are up to now.

Digital Commerce Calgary Fintech Award: Showcasing the 2022 winners takes place on Thursday, May 11th from 8:30am-10:30am at the Platform Innovation Centre.

The event will include light refreshments, a panel discussion facilitated by BC Bank’s President Jeffrey J. Smith, and a great opportunity to connect with the Calgary fintech community. Register online to attend.
