Canada FinTech Forum Seeks Startups for $25K Pitch Battle

August 13, 2026 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

The Canada FinTech Forum is inviting early-stage fintechs to compete for a non-dilutive grant of over $25,000.

Ten finalists will pitch their businesses before financial-industry executives and technology partners on September 15, 2026, at Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montréal.

The competition is open to fintechs from Canada and abroad that are between the seed and Series A stages, have generated less than $500,000 in cumulative net revenue since going to market, and offer a solution relevant to Canada’s financial ecosystem.

Each finalist will deliver a six-minute presentation supported by visuals and a live product demonstration. The winner will be announced during the Forum’s closing remarks.

Finalist companies will also receive two complimentary passes covering both days of the FinTech Forum, taking place September 14 and 15.

Applications close August 15, 2026, and finalists must attend the competition in person.
