Helcim Launches Bank Payments To Help Get Merchants Paid

September 9, 2021 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Calgary-headquartered payments company Helcim has launched Helcim Bank Payments.

The new service allows merchants to seamlessly accept payments directly from their customer’s bank accounts, alongside its great credit card payment tools.

This payment service uses domestic banking payment rails, such as ACH bank transfers in the US and Pre-Authorized Debits (PAD) in Canada to offer fast and low-cost payment options to merchants.

Adding the ability to accept electronic bank payments enhances Helcim’s already robust suite of payment tools by helping businesses to streamline the tools they need and consolidate payment data under one account.

Business owners can choose between bank payments and credit cards when accepting payments from their Helcim account. With lower transaction costs for bank payments, businesses can save on their payment costs by integrating bank payments into their existing processes.

“Businesses want ways to save money without compromising on service or customer experience,” said Nic Beique, Helcim’s Chief Executive Officer. “The lower cost per transaction from bank payments provides savings while still giving businesses access to the digital solutions and easy-to-use tools they expect from their payments provider.”

Helcim Bank Payments have a processing fee of 0.5% and $0.25 with no batch fees or high NSF reject fees.
