Less than one year after launching a cryptocurrency hub to help educate investors, Purpose Investments is terminating one of their crypto investment options.
Purpose Investments is terminating the Purpose Crypto Opportunities ETF fund effective March 29, 2023.
According to a press release, the decision to close the fund was driven primarily by the funds’ relatively low assets under management which has made it difficult to efficiently manage the fund in accordance with their intended investment objectives.
The Crypto Opportunities ETF had only $2.3 million in assets under management. In comparison, Purpose’s Bitcoin ETF has over $670 million under management.
