Winnipeg’s Conquest Planning today announced a partnership with Wealthsimple, a platform that has built some of Canada’s leading digital financial products and that holds more than $18 billion in assets for over 3 million Canadians.
This partnership comes on the heels of a $24 million Series A fundraising round as Conquest continues on its fast-growing trajectory.
Through this partnership, Wealthsimple’s Generation clients, who have deposited $500,000 or more with Wealthsimple, will gain access to Conquest’s technology-driven planning tools. These tools will assist them in pursuing their unique financial objectives, such as saving for retirement, funding their children’s education, making significant purchases, and more.
Conquest’s next generation planning technology is another tool that Wealthsimple will leverage to help its clients make smart financial decisions for their future.
Wealthsimple’s portfolio management team will have access to Conquest’s Strategic Advice Manager (SAM), powered by artificial intelligence, enabling them to quickly and accurately illustrate the impact of different scenarios on client’s goals and recommend the next best financial decision.
“This partnership is another way we’re raising the bar for our clients by giving them greater insights into their full financial picture and finding opportunities to help them reach their goals faster,” said Paul Teshima, Chief Client Experience Officer at Wealthsimple.
“Through Conquest’s innovative financial planning platform, our portfolio managers will have access to even more tools across tax planning, savings strategies and investment recommendations all from one elegant product experience.”
Both Conquest and Wealthsimple believe that financial advice should be meaningful, personal, and accessible; this partnership advances this shared objective.
Brad Joudrie, Chief Revenue Officer at Conquest added, “We are so proud to be working with Wealthsimple since we share many of the same values. This partnership means that even more investors will enjoy access to flexible financial plans while benefiting from Wealthsimple’s human touch.”
