Wealthsimple has landed the largest private tech investment in Canadian history with Meritech and Greylock leading a $750 million investment round. The massive round gives Wealthsimple a valuation of $5 billion.
The grant, delivered as $30,000 worth of public relations and communications services, will be awarded to one early-stage fintech with a founder who identifies as a woman.
