Toronto-based Borderless AI has launched a live integration with ADP Workforce Now, bringing its employer-of-record (EOR) services directly into one of North America’s most widely used HR and payroll platforms.
The integration is now available on both the U.S. ADP Marketplace and ADP Marketplace Canada, giving ADP customers a direct way to manage global employment, payroll, and contractors from within their existing HR system.
For companies building distributed teams, the move reduces friction in global hiring by enabling workforce data to flow between Borderless AI and ADP Workforce Now. That includes onboarding, employee updates, and ongoing workforce changes—without relying on disconnected systems or manual data entry.
The launch expands access to Borderless AI’s EOR offering across more than 170 countries, at a time when cross-border hiring has become a default strategy for many growing companies facing talent shortages, cost pressures, and increasingly complex compliance requirements.
Borderless AI is also notably positioned on the ADP Marketplace. It is currently the only Canadian-owned and operated EOR provider listed, and one of just two EOR platforms available on both the U.S. and Canadian ADP Marketplaces.
“Global hiring has changed, but the systems supporting it haven’t,” said Willson Cross, CEO of Borderless AI. “By integrating directly with ADP Workforce Now, we’re giving teams a faster path to global hiring without compromising on compliance, controls, or the employee experience.”
Rather than replacing core HR systems, the integration reflects a broader trend across fintech and HR tech: embedding specialized infrastructure directly into platforms businesses already rely on. For People Ops and Finance teams, that approach helps reduce compliance risk, operational bottlenecks, and duplicate workflows as organizations scale internationally.
Borderless AI’s platform focuses on automating the most complex aspects of global employment, including country-specific employment agreements, localized compliance workflows, and payroll funding across borders. By connecting that infrastructure directly to ADP, the company aims to streamline global workforce operations without requiring customers to rebuild internal processes market by market.
