Caseware Launches AI Platform for Assurance Workflows

May 28, 2026 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Caseware has launched Verity, a new AI intelligence and orchestration layer designed to operate directly inside assurance and financial reporting engagements.

The Toronto-founded company says Verity is built to support practitioners across the full engagement lifecycle by drawing on engagement context, firm methodology, supporting documentation, and professional standards. Unlike standalone AI assistants, Verity is embedded within the Caseware platform and coordinates specialized AI agents across planning, preparing, evaluating, and reporting workflows.

Caseware will officially unveil Verity during CwX 2026, its annual customer conference in Florida.

The company says early beta deployments have shown measurable productivity gains, including reducing some manual workflows from 15 to 20 minutes to under two minutes. Initial agents include a Disclosure Checklist Agent, Document Intelligence Agent, and Risk Suggestion Agent.

“With Verity, Caseware is launching an industry-first agentic solution specifically designed for assurance professionals,” said David Marquis, CEO of Caseware. “Verity brings frontier intelligence inside the engagement itself.”

Caseware says governance and human oversight are core to the platform, with AI-generated outputs designed to be citation-backed, reviewable, and traceable before entering an engagement file.

More than 23,000 firms, corporations, and government organizations use Caseware technology worldwide.
