Brim Financial Partners with Manulife Bank to Modernize Credit Cards and Payments

October 26, 2026 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Toronto-based Brim Financial has announced a partnership with Manulife Bank to transition its credit card portfolio and modernize its payments platform.

The deployment brings card issuing, processing, servicing, loyalty, and customer engagement into an integrated platform embedded within Manulife Bank’s digital banking experience. Brim says the approach will help the bank introduce products faster and streamline operations.

“Brim’s modern, flexible technology strengthens our digital foundation and supports our transformation journey,” said Katy Boshart, President and CEO of Manulife Bank.

The platform also supports digital customer journeys for Manulife’s independent advisors, mortgage specialists, and customer-facing teams, with the goal of deepening relationships across the bank’s business.

Brim founder and CEO Rasha Katabi said financial institutions are reassessing technology architectures that depend on multiple vendors, which can increase costs and slow innovation. The company positions its integrated platform as a way for banks to manage cards and payments within their own digital environments.
