Wealthsimple Launches Exclusive Rewards Program for High-Value Clients, Partnering with Top Lifestyle Brands

October 25, 2024 by Fintech Newsdesk Leave a Comment

Wealthsimple has launched an exclusive rewards program for its Premium and Generation clients. This new program, targeted at clients with assets over $200,000, features partnerships with prominent lifestyle brands across travel, wellness, and culture.

These rewards include an UberOne membership, airport lounge access through DragonPass, and subscriptions with wellness and media platforms like Strava and The Globe and Mail.

In an era of economic caution, Canadians have increased their saving rates. Statistics Canada reported a significant rise in the national household saving rate, which reached 7.2% in Q2 of 2024, more than three times the 2.1% average seen in 2019.

Wealthsimple’s initiative aims to reward clients while they build wealth, allowing them to access a roster of lifestyle perks that enrich their lives along the way.

“Building wealth takes time, so we want to help Canadians live a little while they wait — whether it’s a travel perk, wellness treat, or cultural indulgence,” said Wealthsimple’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rubina Singh.

“With our new rewards program, we’re giving clients even more choice and personalization on their way to financial freedom.”
