Moneris Integrates with QuickBooks to Streamline Accounting for Businesses

May 14, 2026 by Knowlton Thomas Leave a Comment

Moneris Solutions this week launched a direct integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online.

The Moneris QuickBooks Connector leverages a direct, automated data connection between the two platforms which enables businesses to synchronize their Moneris payment transaction data into their QuickBooks account daily, reducing the need for manual accounting data entry, according to Gad Elharrar, who serves as vice president of Small-to-Medium Business Product for Moneris.

“By seamlessly connecting Moneris payment data directly to QuickBooks, this integration significantly reduces bookkeeping workload for SMBs and minimizes reconciliation errors that can delay financial reporting,” says Elharrar.

Moneris settlement amounts are matched with corresponding QuickBooks entries, accelerating the bank reconciliation process, with both in-store and online payment channels included in the data sync, he says.

“With Moneris QuickBooks Connector, businesses gain a more timely and accurate view of their cash flow and financial position, supporting better, faster decision-making without added administrative effort,” Elharrar stated.

Moneris QuickBooks Connector is available to eligible single-location businesses operating in Canada for $10 per month or $100 per year.

In 2025, Moneris collaborated with several entities, including a partnership with UK’s largest independent payment technology provider, Cardstream Group; another with website-building platform Wix; and another with Quebec’s Polykar, whose PolyVie pilot recycling program is aimed at transforming plastic waste from local companies into reusable resources.

The Royal Bank of Canada and the Bank of Montreal remain in talks to sell Moneris, valued at roughly $2B, since speculation arose last year.

The most likely buyer for Moneris, according to a recent report from the Financial Times, is Francisco Partners, which owns Verifone and holds a stake in Paysafe.
