Montréal-based Ready Plan Go has emerged as one of the big winners at Startupfest 2025, securing the $75,000 FinTech grant supported by Digital Commerce Group.
Founded by Nima Jalalvandi, Ready Plan Go is building an agentic AI-powered accounting platform designed to help small businesses automate financial forecasting, planning, and operations. The grant was one of several equity-free prizes awarded during Startupfest’s 15th edition, which drew founders and investors from across Canada.
The FinTech grant is awarded to a Canadian startup demonstrating product-market fit, strong leadership, and growth potential in the financial technology sector. This year’s award reinforces Ready Plan Go’s position as an emerging player in the accounting automation space.
As first reported by BetaKit, Jalalvandi also took home the $100,000 2SLGBTQIA+ Prize presented by QueerTech, delivering an emotional on-stage speech about the importance of inclusive spaces for founders. “Thank you for having created a safe space for queer founders,” he said.
With a dual win and growing recognition, Ready Plan Go is poised to accelerate development and adoption of its intelligent financial tools for Canadian entrepreneurs.
